The 2025 Ford Mustang continues its legendary legacy with a perfect fusion of raw muscle car power and advanced technology. This latest generation delivers enhanced performance capabilities and a completely redesigned exterior. With its variety of options, the 2025 Mustang caters to a wide range of sports car drivers while maintaining its iconic status.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 Ford Mustang is available in nine trims: EcoBoost Fastback, EcoBoost Premium Fastback, EcoBoost Convertible, EcoBoost Premium Convertible, GT Fastback, GT Premium Fastback, GT Premium Convertible, Dark Horse, and Dark Horse Premium. LED headlamps with signature lighting come standard across all trims. Convertible models include a power-folding soft top with a heated glass rear window.
The base EcoBoost models come standard with 18-inch Carbonized Gray-painted aluminum wheels, while EcoBoost Premium models feature 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels. GT Fastback models roll on 19-inch machined-face aluminum, and GT Premium trims upgrade to 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with Tarnished Dark-painted pockets. Dark Horse models stand out with exclusive 19-inch wheels featuring a Tarnished Dark finish and a Dark Horse logo. Dark Horse trims also feature an exclusive grille with anodized blue badges and an aggressive lower front bumper design.
Engine (Power)
The 2025 Mustang offers three distinct powertrains. EcoBoost models feature a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. GT models have a 5.0-liter V-8 engine that produces 480 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. The Dark Horse models get 500 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque from their enhanced 5.0-liter V-8 engines. A 10-speed automatic transmission is available across all trims. For drivers seeking maximum engagement, the GT and Dark Horse models also offer a six-speed manual transmission.
Performance
EcoBoost models reach 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds, and the GT models accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. A performance package with a Torsen limited-slip differential is available for GT models. The MagneRide active suspension system is standard on Dark Horse trims and optional on GT Premium trims. Dark Horse models also receive an upgraded Brembo brake system with six-piston front calipers. The Mustang's rear-wheel-drive configuration delivers classic sports car dynamics and handling across all trim levels.
Interior
All trims have a 13.2-inch customizable digital instrument cluster and feature a Ford SYNC 4 infotainment system. While the EcoBoost and GT Fastback models come with a 12.4-inch touch screen, Premium and Dark Horse trims have a 15.5-inch vertical touch screen. A flat-bottom steering wheel with a drive mode selector also comes standard across all models. Premium trims come with leather seats and have the option of a 12-speaker B&O sound system. Premium and Dark Horse trims also add dual-zone automatic climate control.
Safety Features
Ford Co-Pilot360 comes standard on all 2025 Mustang trims. Safety features include pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, the blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and a lane-keeping system. Premium and Dark Horse trims add adaptive cruise control functionality and a 360-degree camera system. These safety technologies work together to enhance driver awareness and protect passengers while maintaining the Mustang's performance-focused character.
