 The 2021 Ford EcoSport has a lot of good things going for it, and you'll find many things to love about this subcompact crossover. This year's model has had a few changes that made it even more loveable, and we're keen to share our favorite features of it with you below.
1. Its Surprising Cargo Capacity
If you're at all familiar with the usually cramped cargo capacity of subcompact vehicles, then you'll be shocked by what you find in the Ford EcoSport. There's much more room available than expected. You have 20.9 cubic feet available to use behind the rear seats. We've come across larger vehicles with a smaller cargo area.
 If you'd like to pack in more groceries, a large item or two, and whatever else you need, then perhaps 50 cubic feet of cargo capacity will be more up your alley. You'll get this larger capacity by folding down the rear seating. You can quickly load the cargo space when you're pulled up to the curb, too, as there's a left-hinged tailgate designed to make loading the vehicle a more straightforward job.
2. Its All-Wheel Drive Availability
All-wheel drive functionality is standard on the SES trim level, but you can select it on any trims. Not all vehicles have this feature available on every trim, so you're lucky with the Ford EcoSport. You'd be wise to swap out the front-wheel drive for an all-wheel-drive if you live somewhere with lots of rain, snow, and ice. Getting all-wheel drive is also a good idea if you live in an area with lots of bumpy roads.
3. Its Quick Climate Control
Ford is the only automaker with climate control that's worth talking about. Every vehicle has climate control, but only Ford has climate control that's speedy enough to wow us. Chilly fingers will be warm in less than 5 minutes when you turn up the heat in the Ford EcoSport, and the fast-heating front seats will help with that. Similarly, the vehicle can cool you down quickly if you feel like you're melting when you climb in.
 You won't have to fuss over the controls while you're driving, either. You can set your desired temperature, and your EcoSport will maintain that temperature without further prompting. This will ensure you can pay full attention to the road.
4. Its Sound System
If you're a music-lover, you should consider the Bang & Olufsen sound system available in the EcoSport. It's high-quality enough for you to crank the music without any distortion, and it comes with easy controls. You can fill your vehicle with all your favorite music, and none of that music will be drowned out by wind and road noise.
